Hey, look, it’s another free VIP Club short story!

As you might now have seen if you watched the VIP Club Welcome Video, I was a full-time children’s author under various names since around 2008, and only started writing for adults in 2016.

Several years ago, I was invited to write a short story for the Edinburgh International Book Festival on the theme of “Elsewhere”.

The story I came up with is called The Unclaimed Girl, and you can download a PDF, as well as an audio version narrated in my dulcet tones (complete with a pretty cringeworthy attempt at a woman’s voice that sounds like Robin Williams’ Mrs Doubtfire) using the links below.

    Read this in the early days of “Space Team” and it stands the test of time well! Please don’t abandon Hoon and Logan by going in a new direction. Your fans of Space Team, The Bug, World Killer and a host of others are all waiting for follow-ups! You are in danger of becoming a “flibbertigibbet”. Keep up the good work Mr H!
