June 5th 2020 will see the publication of two books of mine – A Whisper of Sorrows, the sixth book in the DCI Jack Logan series, and Knochenteppich, which you probably know better as A Litter of Bones, the first book in the series.

Knochenteppich is the German language edition of the book, and I’m really interested to see how it does in the German market. Will Jack’s Scottish-isms prove too hard for German readers to understand? Will they appreciate the simple elegance of a good cup of tea and a square sausage roll (tattie scone optional)?

I’ll be watching closely to see how the book performs. If there’s enough of an appetite for it, my publisher will be looking to do the rest of the series in German, too. Fingers crossed!
